Diriyah is evolving into a world-class lifestyle destination, celebrating 300 years of Saudi Arabian history and heritage. It will feature the country’s finest collection of museums, cultural attractions, luxury hotels and resorts, as well as premier retail, leisure, and dining experiences.
I was tasked with art directing, designing, and photographing Diriyah Magazine in both English and Arabic editions to elevate Saudi Arabian culture in the global conversation. In creating a B2B magazine, we aimed to demonstrate that industry titles can be as expressive as consumer publications. By playfully using typography and layout, we highlighted the city’s creative talents and history—such as incorporating triangles in the design to reflect the light that passes through its adobe architecture—conveying both the past and a sense of new beginnings.
