Hatch Studio is the new home of still-life photographer Mitch Payne, known for his graphic contrasts of shadows and harsh light, often with a brutalist, abstract touch.
For the studio’s identity, I played on the word "Hatch" while reflecting Mitch's style. The abstract design unfolds like hatch doors, forming an H at both ends, expanding from the T and revealing the A and C.
This is part of an ongoing, much larger rebrand that is currently being worked on.
