Each year, Krug Champagne partners with a media publication to promote their single-ingredient book. This year, they collaborated with SUITCASE to design a sleeve for our magazine and their book Onions.
They wanted a subtle design that tied into the theme without heavy Krug branding. I focused on the onion, playing with the idea of layers—creating a sleeve that unfolds to reveal new details, taking the reader on a journey.
For the artwork, I illustrated onion layers, printed in spot UV to add texture and shine, ensuring the design enhanced the sleeve without overpowering the text.
